Concept Project of the Embankment Park
The concept project for the Embankment Park is a vision developed by urban architects from the NGO Misto.Reboot in collaboration with the student architectural collective Asymetryk, based on research from Urban Vision Lutsk.
This project presents an expanded proposal for the future park. The concept incorporates ideas and wishes from local stakeholders, representatives of various communities, and residents of the surrounding neighborhoods.
The development of this concept was initiated by Misto.Reboot, considering the implementation of the “Wildlife in the Big City” project by the Lutsk City Council in cooperation with the municipality of Rzeszów. The project is funded by the EU Interreg NEXT Poland – Ukraine 2021-2027 Program. More details about the project can be found here.
The concept project for the Embankment Park has not yet been officially approved by the Lutsk City Council as a final design. However, our goal is to provide a meaningful and rational foundation from the community for the executive body of the “Wildlife in the Big City” project.
Our concept is not limited to the area between the bridges on Kovel Street and Shevchenko Street. The project is still in development. The Misto.Reboot team continues to collect initial data and plans a series of events to draw the attention of Lutsk residents to this urban green space.
